BROOKLYN VELODROME FOUND A SUGARDADDY
The New York Times has reported Joshua Rechnitz, a New York resident and cyclist, has donated FORTY MILLION dollars (that’s $40,000,000) to the NYC Parks Department to build an indoor velodrome in Brooklyn. Holy crap! The 115,000 square foot stadium overlooking the Brooklyn Promenade will house a 200-meter track, 2,500 spectator seats and a swell view of lower Manhattan from across the water. I’m really excited on this news and can’t wait to hear more so stay tuned. Check out New York Times for the full story and thanks to Jason at Affinity Cycles for the heads up. I know you’re super excited about this too.
